Card program creation
A common question asked is “How long does it take to create and how much does it cost?”. There is no overall simple answer as you will see below because of the substantial array of options but as a guide a straight forward chip & PIN, plus swipe, personalised, embossed card, card program of 10,000 cards in one card design; operating in one issue currency (accepted worldwide) supported by a branded website integration, 10,000 card mailers, 10,000 PIN mailers & 20,000 envelopes for mail order delivery with 24/7 customer services for 2 year expiry cards marketed in one jurisdiction where the issuing member institution is also based as are you and the program and card functions and fees are set to your specific requirements would be £14,500 + VAT (@ 17.5%) to create plus recurring charges for cards, services and so forth over the two year period. The timescale for such a program from order to first live card issue would be around 10-14 weeks.
Alternatively for a non-recurring liability program, which means other than to re-order cards & mailers in lots of 10,000 there are no fees or charges whatsoever after creation, the cost would be £32,000.00 + VAT and the timescale about 10-14 weeks.
Finally for a program that operates on an existing approved template where only the design is changed to your branding for card, mailers and websites the costs are the same as above but timescales may be reduced by two thirds to a half.
